Challenge update

Following your feedback and the many responses to the survey about challenges, we've carried out a first wave of changes. The goal is to address some of the biggest issues you reported. However, we're continuing to follow your feedback and analyze your responses in greater depth in order to offer new changes in the future.

  • The base bonuses of all challenges have been increased by 50%.
  • The extra challenge bonus for being outnumbered has been standardized at 30%. The bonus for being at a level disadvantage has also been standardized at 30%.
  • Some drop rates have all been changed:
    • Rare resource rate: 1.2% -> 2%
    • Resource guardian resource rate: 0.6% -> 1%
    • Quest resource rate: rare resources go up to 2% and common ones to 12%. The Paragon's drop rate goes from 0.5% to 0.7%.
  • "Mystique of the Elements," "Untouchable," "Tireless," "Online and Against All," and "Follow Me, I Flee You" have been disabled given their low popularity. We're currently considering whether to rework them in the future or leave them disabled.
  • Several changes have been made to the Turquoise Dofus quests:
    • Kimbo:
      • At the end of their turn, enemies now pull in all allies located more than 8 Range (previously 4 Range) by 1 cell.
    • Sphincter Cell:
      • When an opponent dies, their allies gain 200% damage for 2 turns. -> When an enemy dies, enemies gain 2 MP for 1 turn.
    • Korriandre:
      • Allies or enemies who die deal 50% of their HP in damage in an inverted circle of size 6. -> Opponents kill enemies located on adjacent cells when they die.
    • Obsidiantre:
      • At the start of their turn (previously at the end of their turn), enemies apply a 100% increase in damage taken to allies within 6 cells.
      • Enemies reduce ranged attack damage by 20% (previously 40%).
    • Kanigroula:
      • Opponents' damage increases by 40% (previously 80%) per game turn.
    • The crafting recipes for idols have been changed to reduce their cost:
      • Reduced quantities of Nuggets required
      • Boss essences are replaced with 1 rare resource from the boss
  • The zone bonus threshold above which an anomaly can open has been changed: 50% → 70%
  • The maximum bonus a zone can reach has been changed: 70% → 80%
  • "Focus" challenge: when effects are removed from a monster upon its death, attacking another monster no longer fails the challenge.
  • "Heartless" challenge: healing a summon no longer fails the challenge. If a summon heals an ally, the challenge fails.
  • "Close Combat" challenge: the description has been changed to match how it actually works.

Alliances

Following the same approach as the challenges, a first wave of changes has been made to reduce the cost of AvA and add more value to controlling a territory.
