New class: The Zobals The new Zobal class is available for buyers of the Zobal Pack. Optimizations and performance:

  • A CPU leak in the follower character system and the display of monster groups has been fixed.
  • Monsters no longer move outside of fights if one or more characters move on the same map. This change reduces slowdowns that could occur when several entities move at the same time.
  • All harvestable trees have been optimized and reworked. This change improves the DOFUS client's performance when trees are chopped.
  • The following pets have been optimized:
    • Abra Kadabra
    • Pink Dragoone
    • Golden Dragoone
    • Black Dragoone
  • The graphics file for the high-definition female Sadida character has been optimized. Its complexity is reduced by 45%. Its back no longer discolors during the back-view running animation.

    • Critical hits and critical failures are now displayed on the same line as the associated offensive actions.

Interfaces:

  • The Kamas input fields in the trade, auction house, and merchant mode interfaces now feature a dynamic separator between the hundreds, thousands, and millions digits. This change improves the readability of entered Kamas amounts.
  • A short delay has been added between actions in several interfaces in order to limit the frequency of certain communications with the game servers that could trigger sanctions for the user. The following actions are affected:
    • Merging in the runic magic interface.
    • Double-clicking on recipes.
    • Using emoticons ("Smileys").
    • Using consumable items.
  • The bullet indicating the selected item sort type in the inventory context menu is now correctly displayed after reopening the inventory.
  • The handling of several stacked characters has been improved: right-clicking on a stack of characters now displays a context menu listing all the stacked characters and providing access to each of their context menus. Selecting a character from this context menu also brings that character to the foreground for better visibility, or to more easily apply consumables to them, for example.
  • In the spells interface, spells accessible at level 1 are now organized in the same order used for the spell shortcut bar.
  • The time display in the chat interface has been fixed (an extra hour is no longer added).
  • Classes unavailable during character creation are no longer made available by changing the created character's gender.
  • The emotes interface is now disabled when the character can no longer perform them after an appearance change.
  • In the merchant mode interface, when organizing your own merchant mode or buying from another merchant mode, the total price is once again correctly updated when you change the quantity of an item.
  • When logging into an account with no character, if the queue interface appears at the moment of character creation, the "Go back" button now correctly returns to server selection.
  • In the performance options interface, the selected quality no longer changes when clicking on an option's description, and only changes when the state of an option is modified.
  • A more visible close button has been added to the interface for viewing the list of changes for a version before connecting to the game.
  • Option tooltips no longer stay displayed if you leave the options menu via the "Escape" shortcut.
  • The display of map coordinates is now standardized across the game's various interfaces.
  • In the chat interface, choosing a single default channel now correctly closes the channel selection menu again.
  • In the chat interface, messages from a character placed on the ignore list are no longer displayed regardless of the channel used.
  • When hovering over a group of monsters, the monster list is now better organized: identical monsters are grouped together and monsters are sorted in descending order of level.
  • On the end-of-combat interface, the boxes displaying the list of recovered items are no longer displayed when empty.
  • In NPC shop interfaces, the text "Put up for sale" has been replaced with "Sell."
  • In the trade interface with an NPC, characters are correctly displayed at the top of the interface even if they are riding a Dragoturkey.
  • In the auction house interface, items selected using the keyboard arrows to navigate the list are correctly highlighted.
  • When a character has no profession, the shortcut used to open the profession interface now opens the Grimoire to its first tab, and can also be used to close the Grimoire.
  • In the buying interfaces of merchant mode, auction house, and NPC shop, fields that cannot be edited are no longer displayed as editable.
  • On the game map, zones are now displayed in the correct location (some zones were previously displayed overlapping other zones).
  • The scrollbar in the Zaap and Zaapi interface can once again be correctly selected.
  • The "Conquest" button is no longer grayed out in the alignment interface when PvP mode is disabled.
  • Copying text in the chat interface using the "Ctrl+C" shortcut no longer opens the character's characteristics interface.

Spells:

  • Scattering Arrow (Cra): targets located at the center of the spell's effect zone are no longer moved. Invested spell points are refunded.
  • Blow (Iop): the spell's description has been fixed and now indicates that the effect zone has a cross shape rather than a ring shape.
  • Rogue bomb walls now only appear if all the bombs forming the wall were summoned by the same Rogue.
  • Roguery (Rogue):
    • Illusions created by the spell now only appear on cells that could have been chosen by the Rogue as a destination. For example, a clone can no longer appear behind an obstacle that blocks line of sight.
    • Illusions can now only be dispelled by spells that could have hit the caster. For example, the Perception spell cast by an ally will no longer dispel illusions.
    • Illusions can now be destroyed by the Red Dragonlet (Osamodas).
    • The Rogue no longer reveals their destination position when casting the spell while invisible. Only the starting position (when the spell is cast) is revealed.
    • The direction of the spell's destination cell is now correctly hidden so as not to reveal the Rogue's position.
    • Rogue illusions on a Dragoturkey now have an animation.
  • Last Breath (Rogue): a Rogue carried by a Pandawa correctly loses vitality when the spell is cast.
  • Rogue bombs now inherit their caster's characteristics in real time. For example, if a Rogue places a bomb and then benefits from a spell that increases damage, the bomb will also benefit from that damage increase.
  • Boomerang Daggers (Rogue): the spell's effect zone is now correctly displayed in its tooltip.
  • Blunderbuss (Rogue): the spell's effect zone is now correctly displayed in its tooltip.
  • Powder (Rogue): the spell's effect zone now displays correctly after reconnecting or joining as a spectator. Powder can no longer be triggered by another Rogue's bombs.
  • Spell tooltips now display the states required to cast the spells as well as the states that prevent casting them.
  • Word Lotof: the description of the effects in the spell's tooltip has been fixed.

Combat:

  • Spell cooldowns are now updated at the end of a character's turn rather than at the start of the next turn, to make it easier to select spells outside of your own turn.
  • Quitting during the preparation phase is now possible when the player is alone in their team.
  • Attempting to feed your mount in combat no longer causes a disconnection (but remains impossible).
  • Fighters can no longer take damage after an action that ends the fight has been cast. In some cases, if the attack hit multiple targets, some could take damage after the fight had already ended.
  • The maximum unhealable life percentage is now set to 100% instead of 50%. This change fixes certain issues encountered with the Rogues' Blunderbuss spell.
  • In the center portrait, the Roguebot's illustration now displays correctly when it is its turn to play.
  • In the center portrait, the Roguebot's time gauge now displays correctly.
  • When a new entity appears in combat, entities that died during the previous turn are no longer briefly displayed as alive in the "timeline."
  • Bomb-placing and summoning spells are now correctly grayed out when the bomb and summon limits are reached.
  • The death of a static summon (Xelor's Dial, for example) now correctly decreases the summoner's summon counter.
  • When the "timeline" exceeds the size of the game screen, the arrow indicating the entity whose turn it is stays correctly positioned, and the arrow used to scroll the "timeline" to the right no longer overlaps the "timeline" cells.
  • On the information interface displayed when hovering over a target, the maximum HP value is now displayed.
  • The values of non-fixed effects are now displayed correctly (the HP restored values of the Word of Regeneration spell, for example, were previously incorrect).
  • Turn order is now displayed at the feet of entities during the preparation phase if the associated option is enabled.
  • During the preparation phase, the "timeline" now correctly updates when a character changes one or more visible pieces of equipment on their character.
  • Lines of sight now correctly refresh when a spell is selected and an entity changes position. This change speeds up the flow of combat.
  • Switching spell bars now works correctly (in some cases, it was previously impossible to switch spell bars using the spell bar switch arrows).
  • Monsters now act more quickly when trying to play an animation that is not present in the client.
  • The text "??? is dead!" is now correctly replaced with the name of the entity in question.

PvP and territory conquest:

  • The status of conquest villages is now indicated on the game map by hovering over conquest villages.
  • Subzones adjacent to a conquest village are now displayed with the correct color on the game map.
  • Neutral alignment zones are now displayed in the correct color on the game map.

Prisms:

  • It is no longer possible to switch as a priority into Prism defense by clicking directly on the Prism's combat marker on the map where it is being attacked.
  • When taking over a Prism, the "Transfer all" button from the character's inventory to the Prism's is no longer displayed.

Pets:

  • Certain rare cases where pet resurrection did not work have been fixed.

Artificial intelligence:

  • The handling of spells that kill their own caster has been improved. The Pougnette, for example, no longer commits suicide without damaging any targets.
  • The AI now correctly uses its MP to move at the end of a turn after killing a bomb.
  • The AI's handling of traps has been improved (it previously added the normal and critical hit effects of traps together, thereby overestimating their power).
  • Monsters with "crazy" behavior (such as the Chafer, for example) no longer attack glyphs.
  • Monsters now move correctly after killing a bomb.
  • The AI more effectively handles effects that only trigger on critical hits.
  • Death handling has been improved. The Red Dragonlet, for example, is now able to attack a target that was hidden by a target it killed earlier in the same turn.
  • Allied traps placed before a Double appears are now taken into account by the Double. Reminder: the Double avoids traps with no enemies on them and does not avoid traps with enemies on them, so it can trigger them.
  • The AI more effectively handles melee attacks when already aligned with the target. For example, the Xelors' Seeking Needle and the Sacriers' Flying Sword now correctly attack their target when aligned with it.
  • The Xelor temple Doppel now correctly uses the Devotion spell.
  • The Ecaflip temple Doppel now correctly uses the Rekop and Smell spells.
  • The AI now correctly handles tackling when surrounded by several enemies.
  • The AI now correctly attacks its targets even after having its movement interrupted several times in the same turn due to traps or invisible entities.
  • The AI more effectively handles the propagation of pushback damage. Monsters therefore correctly account for the damage they will cause by pushing a target into another.

Monsters:

  • Invulnerable monsters keep their invulnerability when resurrected by one of their allies.
  • Soft Oak: the monster now correctly casts the Branch Tornado spell on enemies when they are not aligned with it.
  • Milimilou: the monster no longer gives an experience scroll when defeated outside its dungeon.
  • Crocabulia: Dragomeat **** can now be obtained from the monster.
  • Krtek: the AP cost of the Kaboom spell of Krtek's Bombomb summon is now set to 2 at all levels. This change prevents it from decrementing its countdown and exploding on the same turn.
  • The following triggered spells now hit their own caster no matter what (and can therefore no longer be recovered by a Pandawa, for example):
    • Ch'bam of the Pitraille
    • Sulfur Pain of the Solfatare
    • Pikette of the Pougnette
    • Croquette of the Frostwind Tengu
    • Frosted Fleece of the Frostwind Tengu
    • Fur and Blurring of the Frostwind Yokai
    • Lightning and Fulguration of the Frostwind Yomi
    • Fortune's Fool of the Frostwind Kami

    • Summoning Branch
    • Coconut Blop
    • Griotte Blop

    • Pandora's Boxty
    • Pandora's Ghost Boxty - At grade 1, this one can also no longer summon a Pandora's Ghost.

  • The Indigo Bibblop's Blopition spell is replaced by Bibloperie. It now has the same spells as the other Bibblops.
  • The Gobball's Bite spell has been differentiated on the Cave Gobball and Royal Gobball monsters so they use a specific animation. As a result, all other Gobball variants now correctly use the biting animation instead of the headbutt animation.
  • The Porkass Rider now has a different portrait in the "timeline" from the Porkass Shepherd, to better tell them apart.
  • Pig Dragon: the Deadly Daze spell animation no longer loops.

Temple Doppels:

  • A new type of token, the Giftoken, is now awarded as a reward for the "A Big One for Fourteen" quest. This token increases the quest's reward and allows you to more quickly obtain Rogue and Zobal Doppel Tokens (needed by characters who want to exchange their Doppel Tokens in batches of 14 different tokens). The Giftoken can be exchanged at the class temples as follows:
    • 5 Giftokens for 1 Doppel Token of each class (i.e. 14 different tokens).

Quests:

  • A Big One for Fourteen: the quest's experience rewards are increased. The quest now also offers a new type of token: the Giftoken.

  • Star Ski and Dutch: having this quest in progress no longer blocks progress on the "Bambelle Sawmill" quest when you need to speak to the NPC Francky.
  • It is now possible to leave an Order even while having an Order quest in progress. To do so, simply go to your city's Order tower and speak to Jonas Bridget for Bonta characters, or Pandawanegaine for Brakmar characters.

Professions:

  • Bow carvers can now craft a Linen String from a single unit of Linen, instead of 10 previously. At the same time, the NPC Edrige Valling at the Cra temple no longer offers to exchange linen or ash wood for strings.
  • The selection of harvestable trees has been improved.

  • The message displayed when attempting a nonexistent recipe now correctly indicates that the recipe does not exist.
  • In the crafting interface, when a recipe is selected while the character does not have all the required ingredients, the available ingredients are now still moved to the workbench. The message indicating that not all ingredients are present is kept. This change makes it easier to see which ingredients are missing to complete a recipe.

It is therefore no longer possible to stack too many ingredients if both characters select the same recipe one after the other.

  • In the breeding interface, double-clicking on a mount in a plot now directly moves that mount to the stable. Double-clicking on a mount in the stable also directly moves a mount to the plot.
  • The characteristics of a mount that evolve through breeding items are now regularly updated in the breeding interface without needing to reopen the interface.
  • Cell-based selection mode is now automatically enabled when placing breeding items, so that items placed in the foreground can no longer interfere with the placement of those in the background.
  • The tooltips of plots for sale or public plots once again display correctly when hovering over their gate.
  • When the plot interface is open, opening the mount's detail sheet via the button in the bottom bar interface no longer blocks the plot interface.
  • When a character is riding a mount, the emotes interface is once again accessible.
  • The ability to feed your mount in combat after the preparation phase has been disabled.

Maps and zones:

  • Madrestam Harbor has been completely redone: it has been enlarged, additional fishing spots have been added along with other harvestable resources. Some houses have been relocated to improve the layout of the buildings in this zone. New houses are also available. We are currently testing a new animated scenery system in this zone. You may therefore encounter amazing seagulls that blink, or even an animated fountain. If the tests of these animated scenery elements are successful, we will gradually add other animations to the game's scenery.
  • Dungeon rooms on Frigost Island now contain 12 starting spots for each team, to make positioning easier at the start of combat.
  • A new underground passage has been added in Amakna [3; 3], allowing quick access to the Rogue temple while avoiding the dangerous cemetery areas surrounding the temple.

Keyboard shortcuts:

  • The character name auto-complete shortcut is now functional. If several known character names match the proposed beginning of the name, pressing the auto-complete key repeatedly cycles through these different names.
  • The behavior of recalling the names of previous private message contacts (Shift + Up Arrow / Page Up / Shift + Down Arrow / Page Down shortcuts) has been revised to fix issues with incorrectly recalled names.

Tutorial:

  • The icon for entering the guided tutorial is no longer present while a fight is in progress.

  • The theoretical effects of the guided tutorial's rewards are now displayed in the tutorial selection interface and in the tutorial progression interface.
  • The quality and zoom options accessible via right-click are now disabled during the tutorial.
  • The keyboard shortcut to the character sheet ("c" by default) is disabled during the tutorial (like the other shortcuts).
