What are the opening and closing dates?
As their name suggests, Temporis servers are temporary servers with a limited lifespan. For this third edition, the dates are:
- Server opens Tuesday, July 30, 2019
- Server closes Tuesday, October 1 (with maintenance)
What are Temporis III's brand-new rewards?
Depending on the faction chosen, players can obtain a cosmetic set, harnesses, a pet, and a cosmetic mount, in Bonta or Brakmar colors.
What is a "faction war"?
The Temporis III server will run under "faction war" rules, meaning the population will be split into 2 alignments (Bontarian or Brakmarian) that will oppose each other in-game. At the end, only one faction can be declared victorious!
Why can't I choose my alignment / the alignment I want is locked? When the imbalance between factions becomes too great, registration in the more populous faction is temporarily blocked.
What do I need to do to help my faction progress? To help your faction progress, you'll need to donate kamas to your city's militia. Helping your faction progress is also a way to progress yourself, since every kama invested in the war effort earns your character experience points.
Are there limits on donations? Yes. At most, each day your character can only give 20% of their kamas to their faction. This value is calculated at your first login of the day.
What about alignment quests? Don't they help the faction progress? Not directly, but they help your character progress (which will help you earn more kamas) and reward you with kamas you can then give to your faction.
Is it possible to slow down the opposing faction's progress? Of course. To do so, you'll need to attack players from the enemy city. Sending an opponent to prison is a double setback for their faction: they lose time they could have used to progress themselves or help their faction progress, and they can also get out immediately by paying a "fine" — in which case, those are kamas they'll never be able to give to their faction.
Will there be a hunt system with scrolls, like in the past? No.
Are there restrictions on aggression, such as a level cap? No. This is the war between Bonta and Brakmar, and as the saying goes, "all's fair in love and war." That said, some maps are safe zones where aggression is forbidden: Incarnam, Astrub, zaaps, inside dungeons…
If two enemies from opposing factions can't interact and therefore can't trade… will the Auction Houses also be separated by city? No, the Auction Houses will remain connected to each other.
Services
Here is the list of services that will not be available: transfer service to another (classic) server, character restoration service. Of course, the transfer service to another Temporis server will be available for free. All services not on this list are therefore allowed on the server.
Purchases
Items purchased from this list will be transferred to you at the end of Temporis: cosmetic sets, pets, cosmetic mounts, harnesses, poses, finishing moves, companions, living objects, autopilot potion.
Items that will NOT be transferred to you: name-change potion, guild-name-change potion, color-change potion, gender-change potion, face-change potion, transformation potion, guild-emblem-change potion, alliance-emblem-change potion, alliance-name-change potion, class-change potion, fireworks fairies, mimibiote.
Other
The Havre-Sac lottery will be active on Temporis, but items obtained will not be transferred. Transfer of your compensation items, shigekaxes, and perlequins via the gift interface will not be possible. Don't forget that access to the Temporis III servers is reserved for players with a currently valid subscription.
Is the server in single-account mode? Yes, with the same restrictions as the previous Temporis.
Will stars be activated? Since the arrival of temporal anomalies, the old star system has been replaced by the shooting-star system. This new system will be available on Temporis III right from day one!
Why not activate the Kolizeum? Temporis rules are too different from those of other servers to allow Temporis players to access the KIS.
Will the experience potion be tradable, character-bound, or account-bound? The experience potion will be account-bound. You'll receive it via the gift interface, which will let you choose which server you want to use it on. However, the Ombre and Oto-mustam servers will not be affected. Note that you won't be able to recover experience potions from previous Temporis editions on this server.
Will it be possible to loot equipment, like in the previous edition? No, for this edition the Temporis server goes back to a classic drop system: it will work like the official servers, restoring the value of crafting professions.
What will happen to crafting and gathering professions? Profession progress will be made easier by exchanging alitons for profession experience: you'll be able to use 40 alitons to level a profession from 0 to level 200.
Regarding these item types: keys, soul stones, guild gems and alliance gems, mount capture nets, trophies, idols… All these items will need to be crafted by skilled artisans. Note! Following the change to AvA rules, AvA Prisms will not be available!
How can I obtain Kolizetokens and nuggets? You'll be able to obtain Kolizetokens in exchange for nuggets. You'll be able to obtain nuggets by giving kamas to your faction and by winning PvP fights.
Do I need a subscription to enjoy this experience? Yes, only subscribed players will be able to access Temporis.
Will kamas / equipment / professions and achievements be transferable? No, in all three cases.
Can I play on the same Temporis server as my brother/friend/pet on the same IP? Yes, you can play together provided you meet these requirements: accounts must be certified under different names, accounts must have a valid phone number and email address, different on both accounts. Remember that Temporis revolves around the Bonta vs. Brakmar conflict (a faction war), and that as a result, you must also be in the same faction as your friends to be able to interact with them. Otherwise, the only possible interaction will be aggression…
First response from the Ankama team
Are rewards tied to the destination faction? Yes, rewards are indeed tied to the destination faction.
