New activities
Tragic The Gardening (TTG) card collection
A new account quest* appears at the Trool Fair. Offered by Lainu Prof, she will ask you to help her in her research by collecting cards bearing the image of the monster they represent! Prepare your bags and your collector's binder, because we are introducing a trading card system in the form of Tragic The Gardening.
This first version consists of more than 450 monster cards, but also some emblematic characters of the World of Twelve, spread across more than 40 different families. Once Lainu gives you the card binder, you will be able to obtain packs by killing monsters, and you will also be able to browse each family to see your progress. Every monster in the game will have a chance to drop a pack representing its family (e.g.: a Bouftou, War Chief or Royal Bouftou can drop a pack from the Bouftou family). Note that summons cannot obtain a card pack, and prospecting and challenges do not influence obtaining a pack. Packs cannot be obtained within the Bonta or Brâkmar arena grounds. There is no limit on the number of packs that can be obtained in the same fight.
The rarity of a card is represented by a star rating, ranging from 1 star for the most common to 4 for the rarest. It influences the odds of obtaining a pack at the end of a fight and the chances of being obtained when opening them.
Finally, new workshops allowing you to manage your excess cards have been built near Lainu Prof.
Will you manage to see this saga through to the end and obtain the new exclusive rewards linked to this activity? Believe in the soul of the cards and everything will be possible...
*An account quest has progress shared by all characters on the same account, however the rewards (items, experience points, kamas...) can only be obtained once, by the character who validates the step. Also, a card added to the binder will be acquired by all characters on the account. **Titles are only active if the items are equipped and the player has more than 43 complete families in normal or shiny versions
Opening of the Gladiatrool
After major and endless renovations, Notend Less finally opens his attraction to the public!
The famous Gladiatrool offers any character of level 50 or above, alone or accompanied by another adventurer, a random dungeon made up of 10 random rooms. Each one is made up of procedurally generated* monster groups. Of course, the further the player progresses on their run, the greater the difficulty, but it also grants an increasingly substantial haul of Gladiaton*.
To start a session, the player must pay an entry token* and stand on one of the twelve class slabs. They will then transform into the class they selected, with predefined characteristics and their spells leveled up to 5.
The character's equipment is not taken into account when calculating characteristics inside the Gladiatrool. Indeed, you will improve as you progress through the rooms via a tonic system: powerful bonuses that will be offered to you randomly on a new roulette that appears at the end of each fight.
Will you build a balanced character, a fragile but powerful one, or even a specialist with modified spells? It's up to you... but know that a defeat is final: you will lose all the Gladiations* accumulated in that session. Fortunately, you can throw in the towel at any time by talking to the NPC if you feel the monster group is too powerful, which will let you keep all the Gladiatons* accumulated so far.
Note that if you get disconnected before choosing a tonic, the server will assign you one at random.
*Participation tokens can be obtained from most monsters in the game, similar to a Guildalogem. **Titles are only visible if the items are equipped and the player has previously obtained the reward corresponding to the title by talking to Gladiatroc
Graphical fixes
- The appearance of Leonzi Trool and the Gawde Woyal have been modified
- To avoid overloading the fighters' timeline, dead entities are now removed instead of grayed out (similar to a summon)
- Dead entities no longer add empty or misaligned rectangles to the fighters' timeline when a player joins a fight in spectator mode
- The inventory filter now correctly displays the category chosen when the interface is opened, instead of "Equipment"
- During the "pet" emote, the Paladin's Dragoturkey no longer displays the wrong head
Remastered-only fixes
- Fixed animation speeds for Bankers, Shika Ingalsse and the Dopeul Dark Vlad
Ergonomics and improvements
Quick equipment function
A new feature arrives in your inventory! As its name suggests, it lets you equip, with a single click, a set that you have pre-saved. To do this, simply equip yourself, open the "Quick Equipment" tab, choose which set to save it under, and press the save button. To equip a set, simply double-click the set's icon or press the load button.
- Up to 10 sets can be saved
- Each set can have a custom name and icon
- You can preview a set without equipping it by clicking on its icon
Loosening up the shortcut bar
The shortcut bar is revised to be less rigid. Until now, it was a separate inventory from the backpack, which prevented, among other things, placing items other than consumables in it, or stacking new items already present in the shortcut bar.
From now on, any item moved to this bar no longer disappears from the backpack and instead acts as a "shortcut" to that item.
By extension, it is possible to add any type of item to the shortcut bar: resources, quest items, equipment or soul stones... and to use them directly from there. The quantities will also be automatically updated after loot or crafting, which allows, for example, tracking the progress of a specific resource without having to open your inventory.
Overhaul of the Soul Stone Auction House
The soul stones' HDV was subject to quite a few client stability issues and caused frustration for players. We have therefore deeply modified how it works so that it is better suited to its use:
- Soul stones are now sorted by category (Soul stone, archmonster soul stone, etc...)
- Once the category is chosen, instead of displaying the available items, a list of monsters will appear. This list shows all the monsters available in the HDV in the selected category
- For example, choosing the "Dungeon guardian soul stone" category will show monsters such as Royal Bouftou, Ougah, Bworker...
- This list is automatically generated based on the contents of all the soul stones available for sale: by clicking on a monster, you will see all the offers containing that monster among all the soul stones
- The listing limit for a soul stone is removed, but the HDV will only display the first 1,000 offers of the selected monster from cheapest to most expensive, so as not to weigh down the game client
- The search function is modified to work the same way as a regular HDV, but by searching for monsters instead of items
Added additional item filters
With the arrival of the Tragic The Gardening cards, it became necessary to declutter the consumables tab to avoid mixing everything together and ending up with overly long inventories... A new filter button has appeared in the backpack for this purpose. Satisfied but wanting more, we pushed the idea even further and decided to do the same for two additional item categories: soul stones and rune-crafting runes. From now on, in the inventory, in trades and in workshops, you will see these three new filters. We believe this will greatly improve the readability of your inventories. In addition, with the added sub-categories for stones, you will easily be able to display only dungeon guardians, for example.
The bags at the feet of a player in merchant mode also now have a specific appearance if the seller only has soul stones, only rune-crafting runes, or only cards.
End-of-fight interface
- Fixed the issue that prevented bonus stars from displaying
- The avatars of characters who were alive at the end of the fight are now displayed next to their name
- A lightweight version of the interface is accessible via the minimize button next to the close button, allowing you to only display your character and move around the map even while it is open. This version closes automatically when entering a fight, and its state is saved in the game cache
- A line showing your experience or kamas gained will be displayed in chat if you gain any at the end of a fight
Other changes
- The preview of an item in the rune-crafting workshop now has two additional lines
- The keyboard shortcut for merging runes at the Rune-crafting workshop now works in all the game's workshops
- Spells obtained from leveling up or using a spell scroll are now automatically added to the shortcut bar
- The color of the quest symbol "!" above an NPC's head now indicates the type of quest it is:
- Green if it is a standard quest
- Blue if it is a daily quest
- Purple if it is an account quest
- The /whois command now also automatically displays the date
Out-of-combat fixes
Crafting workshops
- Fixed an issue that allowed launching several queues at once, thus speeding up the crafting process
- Residual experience when leveling up a profession is now correctly taken into account for the next level
- Ex: if a cape grants 200 XP and 50 points were missing to level up, the 150 points were lost
- The success rate and experience points received from a recipe are now correctly updated when leveling up without having to leave the workshop and come back
Other changes
- Fixed an issue that caused player disconnection when using multiple items (such as Nowel gifts)
- The maximum pod count is no longer wrong when exiting a fight if the player had a strength bonus from a spell
- It is no longer possible to be aggressed by a monster located on the other side of the map while gathering
- A profession's experience bar no longer shows "undefined" if a player levels up by using an experience scroll
- Fixed an issue that increased damage by 7% instead of +7 healing when 3 items of the Criminal panoply were equipped
- The Skeunk Gem is no longer sold at the wrong price for Pévétons
In-combat fixes
Fixed the element for the "x AP used causes loss of x HP" effect
This effect has always been applied as neutral damage. The issue stemmed from the fact that a Sadida player could fail the Elemental challenge with their Paralyzing Poison, listed as fire in its description, if it was cast alongside other fire spells. The element is now correctly applied to all AP poisons.
It is important to note that the damage calculation for all poisons of this type was already done correctly according to the spell's element, and, since they are not reduced by resistance or armor, the power of the spells concerned is unchanged.
The affected spells are:
- Paralyzing Poison
- Paralyzing Volva
- Dopeul's Paralyzing Poison
Other spells, such as Deadly Carelessness for example, are not affected since they were of the neutral element.
Other changes
- The "Clean Hands" challenge has been fixed to match its description:
- It no longer fails when hitting a monster with direct damage
- Sadida poisons no longer fail the challenge
- Fixes on the Roulette spell:
- The "+ x Healing" effect is correctly displayed in the information channel if the effect targets allies, enemies or everyone
- The "Skips the next turn" effect now indicates whether the caster is affected or not
- Fixed an issue that caused the player's turn to be skipped if the shortcut was set to the space bar and the player was writing a private message
