This version 15b (14b remained internal) will satisfy the greatest number of you, since there are now no more zones reserved for [M] players.
The list of new features is long (and best discovered on your own) — here's an overview.
New features:
Trades - After training with a master in your chosen field and finding your tools, you'll be able to practice one of the trades that contribute to Amakna's activity. From woodcutter to jeweler, by way of baker, several trades are available. When you meet NPCs, don't hesitate to ask them for information.
Alignment - Good or evil, your behavior will lead you where you deserve to go. In the game, it is now possible to "aggress" other adventurers. You then become a "vile scoundrel" able to steal the items equipped by your opponents if they lose. But beware! If you lose, you'll end up in Amakna's prison (in the official version, quests will let you atone for your misdeeds). Be all the more mindful of your behavior since adventurer-vigilantes are there to "punish" you. To become one of them, all you need is chivalrous behavior: "defend the widow and the orphan and smite monsters and murderers."
"Crafting" or "Combining"- Various items can be combined with each other. The right recipe will grant you potions, weapons and other magic. The wrong one will make you permanently lose your ingredients. It's therefore better to have the right scrolls in hand to guide you.
Scenery and active objects - Trees, fields, tables... the world is full of new areas to chop down, mow or search.
Dialogues - NPCs have something to teach you. From how to become a "farmer" to how to make an axe, they have more to reveal to you than you'd think.
Prison - Defeated evildoers need to be locked up properly. Amakna's damp dungeons and the chores awaiting them there will set them back on the right path. Only after completing a noble task (let's say useful... or usefully culinary) will they be able to buy their way out.
Fountain of youth - If your morale is at rock bottom or your life points at 1, it's more than time to find a fountain of youth. A little cure and you'll get your lost points back.
Improvements:
New actions - To carry out your hard labor, in prison, in the forest or in the fields, your characters crouch down and swing big blows with a scythe or an axe.
Respawn - Save points, scattered throughout the game, let you avoid having to cross the whole world again when you lose a fight. Learn to remember them, they'll be very useful on your long journeys.
Logbook - It now lets you find your way around the Province.
Characteristics - To integrate the new features (alignment, trades, etc.), the interfaces have been modified.
Monster balancing - Reviewed and expanded. Also, once killed, monsters don't respawn immediately. A more or less long "respawn" time is needed before finding them in the area again.
Spell balancing - As always, we've reviewed spell levels to find the perfect balance.
Other notes:
Bug fixes
Optimization of Dofus's controlled loading (language file).
Your accounts are being reset. You'll lose all your characters, however your friends list remains intact. A good opportunity to choose a new guild.
