Machine translation — the official text prevails.

First of all, and to head off any complaints, we want to let you know that this v11b is a "transition" not only toward v12b, in which monsters will appear, but also toward the official version of the game. So yes, leveling will be less easy, and yes, this is likely to upset some people.
But let's remember once again: these are BETA TESTS.
Thank you for your understanding.

New features:

HP system – WARNING, your characters do not recover all their hit points at the end of a fight. You'll need to be careful and buy apples and other potions in shops to recover them. If you die in combat, you'll then have only a single hit point left.

Victory handling – In team combat, if your team wins but you died, you gain XP, but you'll only have a single hit point left (HP system). Characters who disconnect before the end are declared "losers" and end up with a single hit point.

The logbook – It will present you with the world of Amakna. For now, you'll only find maps in it, but it will be regularly filled in with other elements.

Your stats – Stats are no longer part of the item inventory. You'll find them under the DNA-shaped icon.

Items – New items have arrived. Notably, apples and potions that will let you regain hit points.

Improvements:

Interface – Nicer, more complete, more practical… so more better.

Inventory – Since stats have been moved elsewhere, the inventory is now dedicated solely to items. You can see them all at a glance.

Sound atmosphere – The game's sounds have been enriched and, above all, are now handled differently, notably depending on your surroundings.

Fewer lags and bug fixes – Changes were made to the server; you should feel it. A series of spell errors was fixed.

Other notes:

XP gains – The experience gain that had been boosted during v10b is back to normal.

Level 1 characters – We know this bothers you, but look on the bright side: everyone starts over with the same chances.

Dofus v11b — Dofus History's beta changelog table

Per Dofus History's beta-changelog table, v11b is explicitly presented by its authors as a transition version toward 12b (which will introduce monsters) and, more broadly, toward the game's official release — at the cost of slower leveling, openly acknowledged as such. The main addition is an HP system: a character defeated in combat is left with a single HP and must use apples or potions to heal; in team combat, winning while dead still grants XP but leaves that same single HP, and disconnecting before a fight ends counts as a loss. An in-game journal appears, for now limited to maps of Amakna that will be expanded over time. Stats move out of the inventory into a dedicated icon, and new healing items are added. The interface, inventory, and sound design are reworked, with less lag and spell fixes. 10b's temporary XP bonus reverts to normal, and all characters are reset to level 1.

Dofus v11b — Dofus History

This version came out on May 5, 2004. Its changelog is available here; although it's a transitional version toward v12b and the addition of monsters, it brings a lot of gameplay changes and a modification to the in-game interface. Among the small additions of this version is the addition of the HP system to be restored after a fight, improved combat handling, and the creation of items to recover health.

On the client side there are several important changes. First of all, the game interface is modified — you can see it in a video by Liche here. Note that only the game interface was modified; the login interface as well as the character selection interface will remain the same (in blue) until the game's last beta (v17.2b). This version is recognizable because the chat background color is dark; in later versions it will be unified with the other beige tones of the game. You can also notice the introduction of the stats/inventory icon bar, etc. As shown in the changelog, stats now have their own interface on this bar. The inventory interface has become the one that will be used in Dofus 1.29; however, for equipment, capes, hats, pets, and Dofus egg slots were probably still missing, and the slot used to discard items was also removed with this version. To the right of the inventory button, the button with the book icon makes its appearance; the changelog mentions a logbook — it was a book that allowed viewing the world map split into small square tiles, and it seemed intended to later add guides and progression tracking to this book. As for the spell bar, it goes from 10 spells to 14 spells, showing that classes had more and more spells.
The last major client update seems to come from the sound engine, which was modified and now allows different sounds depending on the area.
